Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
This program aims to develop students' English language skills from A1 level to B1+ level. The program offers a flexible learning environment where students can progress at their own pace. The program is conducted entirely remotely. Students can access course materials at their own pace and at any time they choose. The learning process is supported by high-quality digital content, exercises, and tests. For more information about the program, please visit https://english.anadolu.edu.tr/.
After registering for the program, students take an online Placement Test. Based on the test results, students are assigned to a module and gain access to its content via english.anadolu.edu.tr, thus beginning the program.
The program is planned for one academic year (Fall and Spring Semesters), with each semester consisting of 14 weeks. During one semester, students can complete a maximum of two modules depending on their placement level, and the fee for one semester is 5000 TL.
You can access all course content through the Learning Management System (LMS) at english.anadolu.edu.tr. The program is conducted entirely online. The program offers a wide range of digital materials, including video lectures, interactive activities, and grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading, speaking, and writing exercises. All materials are specifically designed to help you achieve your learning goals.
The program integrates an AI-powered feedback system into writing and speaking activities. This allows students to receive immediate feedback on their written and oral performance.
Yes. There is a 2-hour live class one day a week. Classes are held in the evenings during the week. During live classes, students reinforce the topics covered that week in groups under the guidance of a teaching assistant. You can also access recordings of live classes at any time.
At the end of each module, students take a Module Final Exam. These exams are administered online. The passing grade for the module is 50. Students who successfully complete the module are eligible to move on to the next module, while those who fail must repeat the same module.
Students who successfully complete the module are awarded a Certificate of Participation indicating the level completed.
Module-end exams will remain open in the system for 3 days, and you can take them at any time you wish. You can review the academic calendar.
There are no fee exemptions. If students wish to cancel after registering for the program, no refunds will be issued.
